Damien.
The classic horror film “The Omen” was re-imagined in a fresh, contemporary take on the life of Damien Thorn, the mysterious central character from the 1976 motion picture. Although he’s now a romantic, complex protagonist, Thorn grew up seemingly unaware of the evil forces around him. The past catches up with Damien, forcing him to face his true identity — that of the Antichrist, the most feared being of all time.
This show was built on a lot of pedigree. From the talent to the filmmakers. The Walking Dead’s, Glen Mazarra, was producing this show. And coincidentally” we were told the producers really liked the title sequence from The Walking Dead. They wanted us to explore a concept for Damien along those lines. So we deconstructed what made TWD’s title sequence unique. To us, the formula of the TWD titles was a great score cut to real-footage that was given a gritty treatment. So we started with that recipe on Damien, but then we spent a lot of energy on a unique visual development of the overall treatment to set it apart and give it a signature look.
