Country – American Sounds.

Main Title.

This fantastic music documentary bridges 90 years of country music using one of the most powerful storytelling devices available – photography. The film tells a visual history from the Carter family (the first country music superstars) to Taylor Swift through rare and never-before-seen photos. The filmmakers wanted a main title that teased the stunning photos and explained the premise of how they were going to break down one of music’s most popular genres in the film.

Process.

We thought a clever way to build the story of our main title without giving away any of the exclusive photos to come was to showcase the process of photography and the way all of these fantastic images were created. So we used 3D design and animation in a photo-realistic style to get us incredibly close to the elements of cameras, film developing and even digital photography.
