Sacred Lies.
Our Main Title Facebook’s Sacred Lies uses the police sketching process as a starting point, the unveiling of a face while drawing as a metaphor for the search of lost people. We start with very loose lines, adding detail as the time passes to complete the look of a police sketch, and then continuing to develop further, as if searching beyond the person’s sole identity, to get a glimpse inside who the characters truly are.
Process.
We began in a slightly darker tone, and while time passes and the faces start revealing themselves, streaks of light enter the frame, adding a sense of hope to the story. A very photographic execution, employing shallow depth of field and slow camera movement to establish the mood.
