Future Cats.

Main Title.

This Emmy Award winning project came about because while National Geographic is known for their incredible archival footage of nature and animals this show needed something quite different. The concept of Future Cats was a show about how big cats would evolve in the distant future. And the show needed a way to visualize the future. They needed a new and unique way to show the information the experts in the show were sharing.

Process.

We didn’t want to use a cold, high-tech style to define the look of a show about nature. So we drew inspiration from animal wood carvings and used that as the basis of our design. We kept all of the designs as tactile as possible with just hints of sci/tech mixed in.
