Building Christmas Game Day.

For Netflix’s Christmas Day GameDay, K+C brought Kelly Clarkson, four NFL teams and the Netflix entertainment universe together in one larger-than-life holiday spectacle. We created all the VFX, including the stadium environment, massive Christmas tree, crowds, gifts, snowfall and final snow-globe reveal.at audiences expect when Sunday night arrives.

Bringing the Teams Together.

Working across the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders facilities, we supervised the VFX approach for each player shoot. Every pass, tackle, celebration and eyeline was carefully planned through storyboards and previs to connect athletes filmed hundreds of miles apart with Kelly’s performance.

Creating the World in Post.

Kelly, her band, the cheerleaders and every NFL player were filmed against green screen with only a handful of practical elements. K+C then created the entire Christmas GameDay world in post, combining the separate performances inside an epic CG stadium and transforming a series of controlled shoots into one seamless Christmas Day celebration.
